About Us

PURPOSE

The Golden Finch Project is a charitable organization that helps sober women raise money to build a stronger community.

Our flagship project is the Saint James Church Renovations Project, led by our founder, Whitney Kerns. We are raising money to transform this historic property into an aesthetic and biophilic space in which the surrounding community may experience the healing properties of art and nature.

Founded in 2025, we hope to soon become a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that continues to support sober women in manifesting their dreams for years to come.

HOW WE SUPPORT

We raise funding to support mothers in recovery so they can put action behind their dreams for a stronger community. Donations can cover:

  • The cost of living for the duration of a project

  • Initial investment needed to kickstart project

  • Monthly/annual overhead for a specific initiative

Donations also go directly to support the active project.
